Jay Park Raps About the Slapping Incident, Accepts Brian Ortega's Apology
Jay Park expressed his thoughts regarding the slapping incident through a rap song. The controversial scuffle happened on March 8 in Las Vegas, Nevada but eventually, the rapper accepted Brian Ortega's apology.
It was on March 12 when the South Korean rapper posted a video on his Instagram account, rapping about the recent clash. The video was uploaded on the day after Brian Ortega posted his apologies using his Twitter account, saying that he is sorry for what he has done to "Korean Zombie" Jung Chan Sung's translator Jay Park.
Reports also stated that Brian Ortega posted an original tweet, saying how sorry he was for slapping the "Translator," the "K-pop star," but he was not sorry for slapping the "Instigator," which he was obviously referring to the rapper. This tweet has been taken down by UFC fighter.
On March 10, Jung Chan Sung reacted to this incident and shared that he was disappointed he was not able to protect Jay Park that night against Brian Ortega.
"Since I joined the AOMG management, Jay Park never advised me to trash talk to any of my opponents. I am not fluent in English so I asked him to be my [translator]. Jay Park proved himself to me and supported me. I also deny the attacks of the other people saying I used him as a marketing tactic. I'm just mad because I wasn't there to protect him."
He added that Jay Park could have defended himself, but that is impossible given the fact that Brian Ortega is a professional fighter with a rank title worldwide.
He is mad about Brian Ortega waiting for him to leave Jay Park for a moment before he could execute his intention to slap his translator.
Meanwhile, Jay Park wrote the caption with words such as "Peace of mind" to all of the internet tough guys who are, up until this moment, judging him because of his look and race. He explained that toughness is seen inside the heart and not on the outside.
Nonetheless, he thanked all the fans who supported him after the incident and advised all them that it is now over and everyone has to move forward.

Jay Park also posted the lyrics of his rap on the photo-sharing app.

After a thorough investigation, it was later found out that the incident occurred because Brian Ortega misunderstood the translation of Jay Park and thought that the South Korean rapper insinuated a fight between the two UFC fighters.
