BLACKPINK launched its first sports apparel collection in collaboration with Fanatics and Complex on Tuesday, July 8, marking a significant milestone in the K-pop group's 2025 comeback celebration.

The limited-edition "BLACKPINK IN YOUR AREA League Collection" features Mitchell & Ness jerseys, hoodies, t-shirts, and hats that merge the group's bold aesthetic with MLB and NBA team designs.

The collaboration spotlights teams from three major American cities where BLACKPINK will perform during their Deadline World Tour. Los Angeles fans can purchase items featuring the Lakers and Dodgers, Chicago enthusiasts can choose from Bulls, Cubs, and White Sox merchandise, while New York supporters have access to Knicks and Mets gear. Each piece combines BLACKPINK's signature pink-and-black color scheme with the iconic looks of these professional sports teams.

This collection represents BLACKPINK's first official foray into the sports apparel market, expanding their brand beyond luxury fashion partnerships into streetwear and sports culture. The group members – Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa – have previously collaborated with high-end brands like Dior, Chanel, Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton, but this marks their debut in the sports merchandise space.

The timing of the collection launch coincides with BLACKPINK's highly anticipated return to group activities after nearly two years of individual projects. The group kicked off their Deadline World Tour on July 5-6 at Goyang Stadium in South Korea, where they performed their new single "Jump" live for the first time. The song was officially released on July 11, marking their first group comeback since their 2022 album "Born Pink."

Fans can purchase the new collection online through multiple platforms, including Complex.com, Fanatics.com, MitchellandNess.com, MLBShop.com, and NBA.com. The merchandise is also available at exclusive pop-up locations, with Los Angeles hosting a three-day event from July 11-13 at 433 N Fairfax Ave, and New York City featuring a similar setup from July 25-27 at 620 Broadway.

The collection includes various price points, with t-shirts starting at $65 and hoodies reaching up to $140, while hats are currently available for pre-order with shipping expected in six to eight weeks. The strategic release timing allows fans to wear their BLACKPINK sports gear to both MLB and NBA games as well as the group's upcoming stadium concerts.

The collaboration announcement generated significant excitement across social media platforms, with fans praising the unique fusion of K-pop culture with American sports traditions. The collection has already gained attention from major media outlets and sports publications, highlighting the growing intersection between music, fashion, and sports culture.
