BTS Jin is celebrating his 29th birthday today, Dec. 4, and fans across the globe are sending their birthday greetings, one of them being the world-renowned musical actress Lea Salonga.

On Dec. 4, fans of BTS, collectively called ARMY, gathered on Twitter to celebrate BTS member Jin's birthday. Millions of fans around the world are giving their warm greetings to the "Butter" singer, causing several hashtags related to the idol to climb up the trending topics.
One particular fan who didn't forget to greet BTS Jin on his birthday is the Broadway singer Lea Salonga. She has been an ARMY since September of last year. At that time, she was spotted posting an article titled "Dynamite" on Twitter and captioned it with "Backstory's out!"

In the article, Lea Salonga unveiled how she started to become a BTS stan. Well, according to her, she joined the fandom because of her fellow "tita" friends on Facebook who kept on posting videos of the boy group as their happy pill during this pandemic.
The musical actress mentioned the televised performances of BTS on the "2018 New Year's Rockin' Eve" and the record-breaking song "Dynamite" as the reasons why she started falling in love with the group.
Going back to Lea Salonga's tweet to greet BTS Jin on his birthday, the Broadway star wrote, "Happy #WorldwideHandsomeDay!!! And oh my God, he really is handsome! #HappyJinDay."
Of course, the other ARMYs eventually saw Salonga's post and left comments under it, agreeing on how handsome Jin is. Some fans even shared a few photos and clips of the "Dynamite" singer in the comments. So far, the tweet has gained more than 16,400 likes and 4,600 retweets. We wish BTS Jin a happy birthday!

On the final night of "BTS Permission to Dance on Stage," fans who attended the concert prepared not even one but two birthday projects for BTS member Jin so that he could feel the love from them.

The first project took place during the opening ment and was called "Heart Event." This involved the ARMYs placing a heart-shaped piece of material in front of the ARMY Bomb so that the word "Jin" (which was written in hangul) could be seen from afar.
When BTS Jin saw this, he was so touched that he was barely able to hide his emotions. He mentioned he felt like crying after he saw it, but he tried his best not to cry as it might affect the performance.

The second birthday project of ARMYs was called "Moon for Jin." This time, the fans made plenty of square-shaped black boxes with a crescent moon-shaped cutout. Like the first one, they also placed the box on the ARMY Bomb, creating an ocean of moons.
Among the fans, Jin is known to have the nickname "Moon" because of the metaphorical love song he penned for ARMYs in which he compared himself to the moon that will always follow the Earth (fans).
