BTS Jin Reveals If He Thinks His Visuals Overshadow His Singing
Recently, BTS sat down for an interview with Sakshma Srivastav for "E! NOW." As the boys answered the question, Jin was asked if he believed his "Worldwide Handsome" visuals had impacted his career as a singer and whether or not it has taken center stage rather than his vocal ability.
Though being handsome can be a double-edged sword, Jin revealed that he does not think his looks overshadow his singing. He then states that looking good is actually a plus factor and should not be taken negatively.
While he acknowledges that looking good could distract others from his talent, he thinks that overall, it is a pro on his side and does not take away from his abilities as a singer.
"It is like adding decoration on delicious food," he said in comparison.
What a good analogy!
In the past, Jin has gone viral thanks to his stunning visuals. Most recently, Jin made headlines as "The Orange Suit Guy" and "Long Hair Guy" during BTS's performance of "Dynamite" at the 63rd Annual Grammy Awards back on Mar. 15, 2021.
At the time, the group was already on everyone's radar as the first group from South Korea to perform on the Grammy's, but Jin was the member who caught people's eyes the most!
At the time, BTS donned Virgin Abloh's Fal 2021 Louis Vuitton suits for the event. Jin, who sported an orange suit and long hair at the back, immediately caught people's eyes. The idol had a number of closeups during his verses, and people on social media could not stop gushing over how handsome he looks.
Being "Worldwide Handsome" does not appear to slow Jin down, and ARMYs love to see it!
