On May 5, BLACKPINK Jennie became a hot topic on online communities after a netizen claimed that Jennie's Instagram is a "lovestagram" along with Zidane.

In particular, the dating rumor started due to a comical claim of an internet user that the two were doing "Lovestagram."

As a brief explanation, "lovestagram" describes how a couple dedicates a post to their significant others by uploading similar photos (e.g., wearing couple items, captured on the same day, same background, etc.) through their respective personal accounts.

With this in mind, the netizen apparently remembered similar posts of the two global stars.

On December 10, 2020, Jennie posted a picture of herself wearing a purple hoodie partnered with sweatpants and beanies of the same color. Along with her, Jennie flaunted her dog Kai, who also unleashed his photogenic side and wrote the caption, "He knows where to look."

Just then, the former soccer player turned manager and coach Zidane posted a photo in April last year, where he was seen wearing a similar outfit as Jennie. Coincidentally, he also took the photo with his dog.

Due to this, soccer-related communities and K-pop related communities expressed their lighthearted positions about the post, saying:

 "It is too funny to say it is forced."

"It's really similar, it's hilarious."

Of course, the claim was posted for humor purposes only, given that Zidane is happily married already to his wife, Veronique Zidane.

On the flip side, Jennie was allegedly dating BIGBANG G-Dragon, which was neither denied nor confirmed by YG Entertainment. As of date, people are still unsure of what their true relationship is.

On April 26, reports claim that BLACKPINK will finally have their most anticipated return to the K-pop scene in June.

A report of Sports Dong-A via Insight stated that stars who have a huge fandom will resume their activities through the release of new albums one after the other.

Among artists listed, it includes Lim Young Woong, Psy, BTS, and BLACKPINK.

The media outlet borrowing the words of an unnamed music official, says:

"BLACKPINK plans to release a new album in June at the earliest."

In response, YG Entertainment on the following day denied the reports. They stated that although BLACKPINK is indeed preparing for a comeback, nothing has been decided yet, including the release date.
