BABYMONSTER Ahyeon has opened up about how she feels being called "Little Jennie."
Ever since she was competing on "Last Evaluation," Ahyeon earned the title "Little Jennie" due to her similarities to the BLACKPINK member. Not only are they both stunning, but they are also considered the centers of their groups.
Additionally, both idols are talented rappers and singers. With that, the comparisons soon flooded social media.
Now, the idol herself has spoken up about how it feels to be given the title.

BABYMONSTER Ahyeon Confesses Feelings on Being Called 'Little Jennie'
When asked about her health status, Ahyeon replied:
"It's difficult to go into the specifics, but mentally, it was tough. I dedicated myself to recovery, exercised regularly at home, and ate well. The members sent encouragement and support, and fans left supportive messages, which gave me strength."
For reference, it was reported in November that Ahyeon would be taking a hiatus from activities due to health issues. She was not part of the group's pre-debut releases and re-joined BABYMONSTER for their official debut in April.
She continued:
"I'm now in perfect condition. I'm happy to stand together as BABYMONSTER. I didn't hesitate to join because I wanted to recover quickly and return."
The topic then shifted to her nickname, "Little Jennie," a title she had had ever since she was introduced. Touching on the topic, Ahyeon stated:
"Jennie sunbaenim (senior) has been my idol since trainee days. She's the one who has given me the greatest inspiration as a role model. It's an honor to be called 'Little Jennie' alongside such a person."
Ahyeon then expressed her desire to grow as an artist to be able to live up to her fans expectations and the hefty title she was given.
"As a junior, I want to do better for my senior and find my own color as an artist, just like Jennie sunbaenim, for the fans who call me 'Little Jennie.'"
