Andy Murray got all the tennis fans’ knickers in a twist when he mouthed some foul language during his Wimbledon game. But his mother Judy reassured them that his Wimbledon loss was not due to an argument before match with Kim or any other “female”. It’s more likely that he is engaged to his long-time girlfriend Kim Sears.

According to the previous article, Andy Murray chalked it up to a “bad day at the office” to explain his defeat to 23-year-old Grigor Dimitrov. During the match, he was heard muttering "shut the f*** up" and "five minutes before the f****** match" to himself. Scotland Now speculates that these obscene comments were aimed towards the players' box, in which Kim Sears was sitting.

Andy Murray reportedly had an argument before the match with his girlfriend Kim Sears. Some were speculating that this argument threw him off and caused an early exit in Wimbledon 2014.

But the 27-year-old Scottish tennis player’s mother, Judy thinks that this is all hogwash. In her column for BT Sports, she wrote that “I had to giggle at some of the things that people were dreaming up to blame for the defeat. Most of them suggested a female was at fault... including Maggie the dog.

“But he had a bad day. It happens. You’ve got to move on. He has to remember how well he played those first few matches. It seemed to me he was pretty much back to his best since his back surgery last year.”

Seeing how close Judy is to Andy, it’s safe to believe that the Scottish tennis player didn’t have any dramatic falling out with the girlfriend of nine years. Andy Murray was even spreading rumors about how he was going to propose to his girlfriend at Wimbledon so if anything, these two lovebirds are hiding away in Surrey with a lovely secret!

Andy Murray doesn’t keep a Twitter or Instagram account that is as active as Novak Djokovic, Grigor Dimitrov or Rafa Nadal so it’s hard to deduce how the tennis player is spending his days post Wimbledon. Novak made a huge Twitter announcement when he got engaged, but Andy and Kim are too shy of a couple to be making big splashes on their accounts.
