Emma Stone's "Cabaret" gig still in limbo but Andrew Garfield's girlfriend may possibly replace Michelle Williams in the extended broadway show.

According to the NY Daily News, Emma Stone's "Cabaret" gig might finally push through as the actress is currently talking to replace Michelle Williams in the Roundabout Theatre Company's production.

"Emma Stone is in negotiations to make her Broadway debut as 'Sally Bowles' in 'Cabaret' on Broadway at Roundabout Theatre Company," the "Amazing Spider-Man" actress' rep told the publication Monday. "Michelle Williams recently extended her run as 'Sally Bowles' opposite Alan Cumming as 'Emcee' through November 9."

But the production is scheduled to run through January 4, 2015.

The Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Andrew Garfield's girlfriend will play Sally Bowles.

"Stone would replace Williams as Sally, the flirtatious, intoxicating showgirl who steals the heart of an American writer visiting the seedy Kit Kat Klub in Berlin at the dawn of the 1930s," the website said.

But Emma Stone's "Cabaret" gig is not just about Sally Bowles. There's also Alan Cumming who is reprising his role as "the club's-and the show's-extravagant Emcee."

Hopefully, Andrew Garfield's girlfriend won't run into Shia Labeouf during her run as Sally Bowles, who made quite a show a few months back..

Last June 26, Shia Labeouf was arrested for disorderly behaviour as he reportedly lit up a cigarette while watching Michelle Williams' "Cabaret" at the Broadway theater in New York.

According to CNN, when the actor was led away from the Broadway theater, Shia LaBeouf was said to have shouted: "F-k you! This is f---ing bull---! Do you know my life? Do you know who the f--- I am? Do you know who I am?"

The "Tranformers" antics caught the eye of "Scrubs" star Zach Braff who hilariously noted in a tweet: "In Shia's defense, @Alancumming 's nipples make me want to go crazy too."
