Seo Taeji finally spoke. He spoke regarding his marriage and lifestyle that was the center of attention.

Seo Taeji Company said he met Lee Ji Ah in 1993 but did not date or live together. Both parents knew of them and they shopped and traveled together.

They said, "There were parts on a show that aired on August 11 that weren't true and we want to get the facts straight before the rumors grow."

"The two met with the permission of both parents. Seo Taeji met with Lee Ji Ah through her sister and after three years, he left the Korea celebrity world and moved to the United States. After Lee Ji Ah came of age, they were married."

They added, "Even while they were in America, they met with their family. They just didn't release the facts to the press, but their relatives and family all knew of their marriage. There were reasons that they couldn't keep in touch with their parents at some time, but only Lee Ji Ah can attest to that."

"They were together for two years and seven months and started living apart. Then they agreed to a divorce in 2006."

They also talked about their marriage. "The two traveled and shopped in America and went out to eat. They were free and had an average life."

"Seo Taeji's past in America was in the past for him, but still a hurtful one. They were both quiet about their past because they respected each other. We hope the the rumors do not spread bigger."
