5 Seconds Of Summer Ashton Irwin Focuses On Next Single And New Album Instead Of Dating Kendall Jenner? Gets Abandoned By Calum Hood After Ice Bucket Challenge

5 Seconds of Summer Ashton Irwin made an announcement on Twitter that the 5SOS boys are back in the studio writing songs for their next single and new album! Good thing because their current songs are starting to lose their appeal. This new album may be a good distraction tactic for Ashton Irwin after the whole Kendall Jenner dating rumor and getting abandoned by Calum Hood after his Ice Bucket Challenge. Poor guy.

Earlier this month, Kendall Jenner got into the cab with 5 Seconds of Summer drummer Ashton Irwin, sparking dating rumors.

Kim Kardashian’s sister told Dujour magazine that everyone is game for her when it comes to dating. “I don’t really have a type,” Kendall Jenner said, “I love tall. And you gotta make me laugh because I can’t make anybody laugh. I’m not a funny person so I need someone to make me laugh.” Ashton Irwin passes all the categories that she mentioned, but since their eventful evening, Ashton and Kendall has not been seen together. This is a great news to all the crazy 5SOS fans out there. It looks like 5 Seconds of Summer drummer is trying to channel some of that disappointment/anger/relief towards songwriting. He announced to his fans on Twitter that 5SOS boys are buckling down to write the next singles for the new album.

It hasn’t been the best week for Ashton. His best mate Calum Hood abandoned him after the Ice Bucket Challenge, leaving Ashton with the bucket sitting on his head.
