Legal Setback For Jennifer Lawrence In Photo Hacking Scandal? Porn Sites Contest 'Hunger Games' Star's Claim To Copyright Of Nudes, Boyfriend Chris Martin and Friend Emma Watson Stand By The Actress.

It looks like there’s more bad news for Jennifer Lawrence, who has become the face of the nude photo hacking scandal that’s taken Hollywood by storm. Reports have surfaced that some porn sites are resisting demands by the Lawrence’s attorney to take down her leaked photos, claiming the star does not own their copyright. The one silver lining to this whole ordeal: the star has A-listers like boyfriend Chris Martin and friend Emma Watson standing in her corner.

Sources say that an Attorney for Lawrence has contacted at least one website that was posting the stars nudes, informing them that their client owned the copyright to the photos, and demanding that they take them down. Unfortunately for the star, it seems the site fired back, claiming that since some of the photos are not selfies, whoever took them would most likely be the actual owner of the copyright. They are now reportedly demanding that Lawrence prove that she is the rightful owner, or give them the name of the person who took the pics.

Of course, even if Lawrence’s legal team is successful at getting the offending photos off of certain websites, it is very unlikely that they will ever be able to completely remove them from the web. Many of the photos have reportedly been traded for bitcoins on Reddit, and with gossip bloggers like Perez Hilton having already published some of them (he later took them down), there is no telling how far the images may have reached by now.

At least it seems that Lawrence won’t have to worry about this scandal negatively impacting her budding relationship with Coldplay lead Chris Martin. A source told Hollywood Life that “Chris doesn’t care that Jennifer took naked pictures of herself, he’s more concerned that her privacy was invaded.” The source goes on to say that the musician’s main focus is trying to comfort the star, explaining that, “he just uses his quirky sense of humor to help her look at the funny side.”

Meanwhile, Lawrence’s good friend Emma Watson took to Twitter to speak out against both the hacking and the subsequent reaction from much of the viewing public. The actress wrote, “Even worse than seeing women’s privacy violated on social media is reading the accompanying comments that show such a lack of empathy.’
