Who knew that Jessa Duggar would be the rebel of the Duggar family? In the light of her sister Jill’s pregnancy, Jessa Duggar clarified that she doesn’t necessarily want 19 kids and counting. Is this Jessa’s way to getting back the spotlight that Jill and Derick stole ever since her engagement news broke?

Jessa Duggar, 21, and Ben Seewald, 18, got engaged just a few days after their eleven-month courtship anniversary. Their wedding date is set to November and they are in the process of organizing the gift registry.

Jessa captioned this picture, “Gift registering w/ my Sweetheart! @ben_seewald!”

But getting the registry set up and doing prep work for the wedding hasn’t all been fun and games.

Jessa and Ben expected their engagement news to be the biggest event since Jill’s June wedding, but they were one-upped by the newest married couple of ‘19 Kids and Counting’.

When Jill and Derick announced that their pregnancy news, they stole the spotlight from Jessa.

So when Jessa admitted to ABC News, it looked like the younger Duggar sister was trying to gain back the attention she lost.

“It’s probably not possible for me to have 19 kids naturally,” she said.

19 kids and counting? No thank you.

But Jessa did say that she wants to have a big family and entertains the idea of adoption.

“We might adopt… [Ben Seewald and I] both love kids. We’ll play it by ear as we go along.”

Is Jessa snubbing her sister for getting pregnant so quickly? Looks like the younger Duggar is ready to take this more slowly. Younger and wiser!

The first episode of ‘19 Kids and Counting’ season 9 revealed more details about Jill Duggar’s wedding and more details from Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar’s perspectives. We imagine that they will fold Jessa and Ben Seewald’s story more as the season goes on!
