Variety reports that Kripsy Kreme has partnered with Sony in order to release "Ghostbusters" themed donuts - two kinds of marshmallow-filled donuts will be introduced in order to celebrate the Blu-Ray release of the 30^th anniversary edition of "Ghostbusters."

EOnline reports that Krispy Kreme is "truly excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures in the celebration of the 30^th anniversary of the iconic 'Ghostbusters' brand." Krispy Kreme Chief Marketing and Innovations Officer Dwayne Chambers stated, "We are delighted to bring our fans two delicious limited edition treats that are as unique, creative, and joyful as this beloved film franchise."

The first type of "Ghostbusters" donut is aptly named the "Ghostbusters Donut," and is described as "a marshmallow Kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, a decorative green 'splat' inspired by Slimer, and a Ghostbusters logo sugar piece."

The second type of donut released will be the "Stay Puft Marhsmallow," which is described as "a marshmallow Kreme-filled shell topped with white icing, decorated with Stay Puft Marshmallow Man's familiar face and a sugar piece hat."

According to Variety, the new donuts will be available from September 29 through October 31 at US and Canada Krispy Kreme stores, or while supplies last.
