Manny Pacquiao Next Fight Against Chris Algieri: Filipino Champ Up For A ‘Real Puzzle;’ Floyd Mayweather Jr Claims ‘Pacman’ Is ‘Broke’

Manny Pacquiao's next fight against Chris Algieri could be a real puzzle for the Filipino champ as Floyd Mayweather Jr. claims Pacman is broke and desperate to go into the ring with him.

According to the NY Post, Manny Pacquiao's next fight against Chris Algieri won't be a walk in the park, at least that's what Top Rank big boss Bob Arum claimed.

Bob Arum said that Chris Algieri won the right to fight Manny Pacquiao after beating the Russian sparring partner of the eight time world division champ, Ruslan Provodnikov.

"He earned his way to the dance. That being said, he's very, very unique in the sport of boxing because of his education and how he uses his smarts when he performs athletically," Arum told NY Post. "Anybody who says the fight between Pacquiao and Algieri will be a blowout doesn't know what they're talking about. Algieri is going to present a real puzzle for Manny."

Meanwhile, ahead of Manny Pacquiao's next fight against Chris Algieri, one of the pound-for-pound bests traded jabs with Floyd Mayweather Jr. on social media over "Money's" testimony at the Nevada State Athletic Commission.

Chuck Schilken of the Los Angeles Times wrote that Floyd Mayweather Jr. admitted during the hearing that his "All Access" reality TV show was staged.

"It's a new generation, a young generation. We believe in going outside boxing and doing something different. Because we did something different we got better pay-per-views this time around," Mayweather reportedy said.

Despite training for Manny Pacquiao's next fight, that comment earned a jab from "Pacman" who tweeted: "@FloydMayweather's testimony to the commission on All Access' authenticity tells me everything I need to know about his desire to fight me."

Of course, the undefeated American couldn't let that one slide as he responded with a photo of Manny Pacquiao slumped on the ring after being knocked out by Juan Manuel Marquez in 2012, which he captioned: "....Miss Pac Man is broke and desperate for a pay day. Your Pay-Per-View numbers are a joke."
