Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice was sentenced to 15 months in prison on Tuesday, for fraud and tax evasion charges. The judge announced the sentencing after giving her husband, Joe, a much stiffer 41 months. Naturally, Giudice’s enemy, occasional RHONJ costar Kim Granatel took the opportunity to rub salt in the disgraced TV personality’s wounds, taunting her via Twitter.

Gossip Cop reports that after Giudice’s sentencing was announced, Granatell took to the social media platform to gloat. “Look who is the PATHETIC ONE NOW!!!” she tweeted, “REMEMBER???? #RHONJ #guidici #guidicisentencing #TeresaGiudici.” She continued her barrage, writing, “ORANGE is the new BLACK…. And I don’t mean HERMES!!! …#RHONJ #guidicisentencing #Teresa Giudici.” And then, “HOPE YOU ARE READY FOR LOCK-UP: RAW MARICOPA COUNTY! #RHONJ #JoeGiudici #guidicisentencing.”

The housewife had been hoping to avoid serving time altogether for the charges of “Conspiracy to defraud lenders and illegally obtain mortgages and other loans,” in addition to hiding assets when filing for bankruptcy.” In court she asked to be given community service and house arrest instead, so she could stay home with the couple’s children. “My four daughters are my life,” she pleaded, “I don’t care about the TV show.”

Unfortunately for her, U.S. District Court Judge Esther Salas was none too pleased with the “inconsistencies and omissions” in the financial disclosure forms the couple filed with the court, or the fact that they didn’t file them on time. They failed to list many major assets, and declared only $25,000 worth of home possessions despite having an insurance policy worth $1 million. “They had an obligation to be transparent and candid and open with the court,” Salas said, “And I don’t think I got that.” In addition to serving time, the couple was ordered to pay more than $414,000 in back loans they acquired illegally.
