Henry & Lee Guk Joo Dating? Questions Arise After Photo Of The Idol And Comedienne Is Revealed Through Twitter

Henry Lau introduced Lee Guk Joo as his girlfriend to the world on Twitter.

The idol, who is a solo artist under SM Entertainment as well as a member of the company’s boy band Super Junior-M, shared a picture through social media on October 20. In the photos, the idol and Lee Guk Joo, a comedian-gagwoman, look close and are seen making affectionate couple-like expressions.

Henry tweeted the pictures with the message, “Everyone, it is correct that this woman is my girlfriend!”

Lee Guk Joo and Henry show affection expressions in the set of selfies (also called “selca” in South Korea.) Henry is seen making a kissing expression, while Lee Guk Joo looks straight into the camera.

Neither Henry nor Lee Guk Joo has clarified whether Henry’s words were a joke, or if the two are truly dating. SM Entertainment has had several idols reveal relationships in 2014.

Both Lee Guk Joo and Henry are popular guests on variety shows. Even though they are not appearing on the same show, the pictures suggest that the two have grown close. Lee Guk Joo is currently appearing on SBS's Roommates, while Henry is a cast member for MBC’s Real Men.

Additionally, Henry is on tour Super Junior at the moment for Super Show 6, and will perform next on October 29 in Tokyo.

Lee Guk Joo was revealed to have dated an idol trainee in the past on tvN’s Taxi.

Comments on the article posted on Nate have fans questioning whether the two are actually dating, and expressing mock-pity for Roommate cast member Jackson, who has expressed fondness towards Lee Guk Joo on the show.

Henry debuted as a part of Super Junior-M in 2007, and released his first solo in 2013. He was SM Entertainment’s first male solo artist to debut in thirteen years. Lee Guk Joo debuted formally as a gagwoman in 2007.
