EXO Fans Allegedly Sneak Into Press Conference Pretending To Be Reporters

EXO fans disrupted a film's press conference.

Fans of EXO member D.O allegedly created fake credentials and were able to gain access to the press preview and conference for D.O's upcoming film, Cart, which was held on October 22, according to a report by ENews.

The event had limited access, due to security worries, but fans were still somehow able to gain entrance. The press conference was delayed while organizers sorted out the situation.

The press conference for Cart was held in Gangjin-gu, South Korea, and had heightened security, reportedly due to previous security breaches during the movie's production. In order to attend, reporters had to check in with their press passes and prove their identity. However, some fans of EXO's D.O allegedly made fake press passes and snuck into the press preview, where the film was being screened.

The press conference that was meant to immediately follow the preview was then reportedly postponed.

There were lengthy delays as everything was sorted out; reporters and the film's cast had to wait and are said to have been behind schedule when the press conference began.

EXO fans are said to have pretended to be reporters in the past in order to gain access to Cart's press events.

Cart stars Yum Jung Ah, Moon Jeong Hee, Kim Young Ae, Kim Kang Woo, Chun Woo Hee, Ji Woo, Hwang Jung Min, and EXO's D.O. This is D.O's debut in the film industry, but the actor gained praise for his role in the drama, It's Okay, That's Love.

The film is about part-time workers who get fired without warning, and form a union to fight for their rights. It will be released in South Korea on November 13, but premiered at the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival earlier this year.

Cart was also previewed at the 2014 Busan International Film Festival earlier this month, and will premiere in the United States on November 6, at the 2014 Hawaii International Film Festival.
