Today marks an all new episode of "Yowamushi Pedal Grande Road." Episode 13 entitled "Flat-Out Run at Lake Yamanaka" was simulcast for countries outside of Japan thanks to streaming services on Crunchyroll. Synopsis:

This week's episode recaps the last events of Makishima telling the first-years in Sohoku's cycling team that their job in the race is not complete yet. After the opening theme, the audience is back with Hakone Academy as they pull further into the lead in the last race of Inter-High. Meanwhile, Sohoku High School chases them desperately trying to close the gap before the portion of the race that takes place in the mountains.

Suddenly, Imaizumi laments that he has yet to do anything worthwhile during this race. Naruko tells Imaizumi that he feels the same - that they have done nothing good for Sohoku during this final race of Inter-high. Onoda however inspires them by stating that the 3rd years are trying to tell them through their cycling to be stronger. With that, Sohoku Academy powers forward and spots Hakone Academy.

Fukutomi tells Shinkai to shake off Sohoku as Tadokoro powers them forward. Sohoko's team however catches up with Hakone Academy with 3.2 Kilometers remaining in the race. Then Fukutomi tells Shinkai to pull away and he does. Kinjou however refuses to give up. Tadokoro then takes the lead for Sohoku and tells Kinjou to rest his legs while he pushes them forward.

Imaizumi informs Onoda that Sohoku High School will also break off just as Arakita and Izumida fell behind from Hakone Academy. Tadokoro sprints all the way to Shinkai and once again the teams are equally together. Then, Tadokoro falls behind just as Arakita and Izumida from Hakone Academy. And suddenly it seems his work was for naught as Kinjou is unable to chase Hakone Academy to begin the mountain climb.
