LE SSERAFIM member Kim Chaewon is receiving major backlash on her Instagram, despite her seemingly normal photo of her eating pizza.

Earlier this month, LE SSERAFIM performed at the Coachella Music Festival in the United States. While anticipations were high for how the group would perform, they ultimately received a wave of backlash due to their shaky vocals and wavering energy. The girls remained silent for a while amid the backlash and have only recently started posting online again. However, the hate does not appear to be stopping anytime soon.

On April 24, 2024, LE SSERAFIM's leader, Kim Chaewon, shared a series of photos on her Instagram account.

In the published photos, Kim Chaewon is seen biting into a huge slice of pepperoni pizza placed on a plate. The idol boasted a smaller face than a slice of pizza, showing off her amazing proportions and small face.

In other photos, Kim Chaewon is seen holding ice cream while posing against a street in the United States. She showed off her chic charm by matching a leather jacket with a sleeveless floral dress.

However, some praised LE SSERAFIM's Coachella performance. Others also defended Kim Chaewon from the amount of hate she was receiving. Some comments read,

LE SSERAFIM Faces Backlash for Coachella Performance + Attitude After

On April 13 and 20, LE SSERAFIM performed for two weeks at the Cochella Valley Music and Arts Festival. During their first performance on the 13th, LE SSERAFIM faced backlash due to their unstable live vocals. Their performance on the 20th was relatively better, but the controversy over their skills did not cool down.

Controversy heightened after Kim Chaewon and Sakura left posts hinting at their satisfaction with their Coachella performance on social media.

After their first peformance, Sakura shared a post in Japanese to Weverse, saying, "And I believe that my determination shone through, allowing us to deliver our best performance. For us, who debuted less than two years ago and have only toured once, we stood proudly on the Coachella stage, giving our all to the performance and enjoying ourselves."

On the other hand, Kim Chaewon took to her Instagram to share a Story of Doja Cat flipping off the crowd during her set at Coachella. Though the post was immediately deleted, netizens believed she was indirectly responding to the hate the group received over their skills.
