Rafael Nadal’s career and relationship are suffering right now and we haven’t gotten to Australian Open 2015 yet! After coming back from a pesky injury, Nadal crashed out of Qatar Open, which probably sent his confidence spiraling down. Looks like his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello has a lot to work on!

SFGate reports that “Rafael Nadal’s first tournament match since surgery in November ended in a 1-6, 6-3, 6-4 defeat to German qualifier Michael Berrer in the first round of the Qatar Open on Tuesday.

“He was sidelined for three months with a right wrist injury after Wimbledon and then had an appendectomy in early November.”

Sounds like Rafa’s career is on the decline. Let’s hope that he is able to sustain at least his relationship with sweet Maria Francisca Perello.

This past year may not have been Rafael Nadal’s year, but with his new campaign for Hilfiger, the former world number 1 is poised to take on Australian Open 2015! His ever supportive girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello probably has been giving him a lot of pep talks.

According to Daily Mail, Rafael Nadal “has been announced as the new face and body of Tommy Hilfiger's underwear range.

“Nadal, 28, has signed up as the fashion label's global brand ambassador in 2015 and will also appear in campaigns for its Tailored collection.”

Sounds like this is the perfect opportunity for Rafael Nadal to build a good public image as well as some self confidence! Maybe this will help him at Australian Open 2015.

When asked to explain his endorsement for Hilfiger, he replied: “I've always admired Tommy Hilfiger's cool, all-American designs which are sophisticated and easy to wear, and I'm excited to be partnering with the brand.”

But more than this endorsement, Nadal always had his girlfriend Maria Francisca Perello beside him to help him through the tough times.

They have been dating for over nine years, which makes us wonder when Rafa and Maria Francisca will announce their engagement! It’s only a matter of time that these two Spanish hometown lovers get hitched. Maybe Rafa and Xisca will make the announcement before the Australian Open 2015!
