CNBLUE’s Jung Yong Hwa has released the teaser for his upcoming solo track “Mileage.” “Mileage” may be a departure from his pop-rock sound, as the song features vocals from YDG (Yang Dong Geun).

The video features vocals by Jung Yong Hwa. YDG and Jung Yong Hwa travel through various domestic scenes including the supermarket in the trailer. 

YDG is a noted Korean hip-hop artist and actor, who recently starred opposite Jung Yong Hwa in “The Three Musketeers.” Notable tracks from YDG include his collaboration with illionaire record’s Dok2 and the Quiett on “Give it to Me.”

On January 7, FNC Entertainment revealed YDG as the first artist that will be featured on Jung Yong Hwa’s upcoming solo debut album.

This followed a teaser photo which indicated four notable collaborations. FNC will reveal the next artists on January 11, 12, and 13 through midnight announcements.

Jung Yong Hwa has participated with CNBLUE since their debut in 2009. Beyond serving as the group’s leader, he has built a large fan following through starring roles in Korean dramas including “You’re Beautiful” and “Heartstrings.” He recently delivered an acoustic performance of “Star, You” for the SBS Gayo Awards which resulted in a special release of the track.

The possibility of hip-hop on his album, has increased anticipation from fans for Jung Yong Hwa’s solo release.
