It was in 2015 in the "Back to the Future II" movie that Marty McFly showcased his Nike Air Mag on film and rode on a hover board. Now, the time has come for the signature shoe to be back on sale just in time for McFly's arrival.

The resurrection of the Mags, after it was re-released last 2011, was talked about last year, saying that they would add power laces this year to make it as realistic to the movie as possible.

Tinker Hatfield, the mastermind behind the Nike Air Mag, recently confirmed that there will be indeed self-tying laces installed in the futuristic kicks, as Nice Kicks confirmed.

Nike has officially confirmed that they will be bringing back the Nike Air Mag this 2015 with unannounced release date as of yet.

Hatfield asked fans to hang on to their seats as the year just started and still has a long way to go, claiming there are still "11 and two-thirds months left in 2015."

The Air Mags has been very popular among the sneaker community with its rarity and the story behind the shoes. With the addition of LED lights the last time it was re-released, all 1500 pairs that were sold went to eBay and prices went over the roof. This time, it is still unknown how many stocks would Nike produce for the world to see.
