Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield have allegedly split up.

This is according to several news reports claiming that the couple have decided to call it quits after being in a relationship for more than three years.

According to Life & Style online, the "Amazing Spiderman" co-stars have been drifting apart due to their hectic individual schedules that does not allow them any time for each. The two have been rumored to have tried to fitting them both in their schedules, but failed to meet halfway.

"They are taking some time apart to figure things out," allegedly said their source. "They need to know if what they once had is worth saving."

As previously reported, Emma, who was nominated for an award in her performance for the movie "Birdman," also starring Michael Keaton, attended this year's Golden Globes without Andrew. The "Social Network" actor was reported to be in Taiwan at that time, shooting for another film of his.

"Andrew was filming but he could have gotten away if he really wanted to," added the source from the site written above. "The fact was, neither one of them wanted to plaster on a smile and pretend everything was OK when it wasn't."

Garfield's absence in the 2015 Golden Globes also led fans to speculate on whether the two are currently experiencing a rough patch in their relationship or not. Some fans defend the couple's relationship and say that it is understandable for the two of them to not always be present in each other's endeavors, since both of them are big and in-demand celebrities on their own.

While there are those who defend Emma and Andrew's relationship, there are some who think that it really is over between the two, saying that their appearances together have taken a big dip to almost nothing.
