Sunye is getting married with a preacher James Park, who's five years older than her, on Saturday at Lotte Hotel. On the interview session prior to the wedding, Sunye said that Wonder Girls members are going to focus more on solo actives from now on. 

Sunye added on saying "I don't plan on retiring from singing. I don't know when the next activity will start, but I am not going to stop singing until my voice doesn't come out. I hope I come back soon." The wedding will be divided to part one and two. Her best friend 2AM Jo Kwon will be the MC, and the officiant will be the preacher of her church. JYP entertainment head Park Jin Young and other singers will sing for her. After the wedding, Sunye is planning on going honey moon trip to Maldive and live in Canada.
