One father-daughter duo made possibly the most amazing Mother’s Day gift of 2015.

YouTube user Ivan Owen and his daughter made the “Ultimate Cereal Eating Machine” and filmed the extensive, but entertaining process in a viral-worthy video.

“My daughter and I surprised my wife on Mother’s Day by inventing a machine to make life easier in the mornings!,” wrote Owen in the description of the video he uploaded.

“I think our plan went terribly wrong.”

The video, which was uploaded three days ago, has only garnered 6,446 views thus far, but it continues to warm the hearts of those watching. The clip has more than 120 likes and counting.

The recently uploaded clip has also brought attention to the importance of quality father-daughter time.

“Now that’s what I call a beautiful relationship with your daughter. Made me smile. Also 10/10 for cereal consumption,” wrote YouTube user DiagonBlix.

Fellow social media user AusiKifaru27 commented, “Speed and efficiency don’t always get along. While not a win for science, a major win for quality time.”

Although the invention wasn’t the most effective, a handful of social media users have jokingly mentioned that they’d like to attempt to use the father-daughter-made product in the future.
