'M! Countdown' Highlights: Big Bang Wins #1 And Defeats Sunggyu On The May 21, 2015 Episode + Performance Recaps

Mnet's M! Countdown is back and featured great performances from some of your favorite K-pop stars. Loud screams and fan chants were all heard during the May 21 episode.

The stars who made their comeback were HISTORY with "Might Just Die," Ray is going to "Propose" for his return, SHINee with "View," and N.Flying is "Awesome" for their debut.

Your nominees for the May 21 episode were INFINITE's Kim Sunggyu and Big Bang. The winner was Big Bang for their hit single titled, "Loser." Congratulations to them.

This being said, here are the performances that were seen during the May 21 episode.

Performances From The May 21 Episode

INFINITE's Kim Sunggyu; "The Answer"

INFINITE's Kim Sunggyu is looking for "The Answer" as he sang his nominated song on May 21.

Once again, he performed flawlessly and showcased his amazing voice. His fans loved his performance; which screams were heard while Sunggyu performed.

The song is contained in his second solo album 27.

SHINee; "Love Sick" and "View"

SHINee is back and will be performing their hit singles during the music programs this week. SHINee made their hot comeback and performed two singles during the May 21 episode.

The guys sang their singles titled "Love Sick" and "View." Both of this songs are contained in their new album Odd. SHINee received a warm comeback from their fans because loud screams were heard while they performed.

HISTORY; "Might Just Die"

ELSIE (T-ARA's Eunjung) performed her solo single titled "I'm Good" on the May 21 episode. Ki-o was not featured; which Eunjung had to modify the performance.

The stage ambience was still the same. Eunjung set the mood and expressed the emotion of her solo single; which is regarding a relationship that is no longer fulfilling or satisfying. Her single ranks number 13 on the music show's chart.

Ray; "Propose"

Ray is going to sing a beautiful song and will "Propose." Showcasing his great skills on playing the piano, Ray did a great job of entertaining the audience on May 21.

N.Flying; "Awesome"

N.Flying is really "Awesome" for their debut on May 21. The guys rocked the stage and entertained the audience.

N.Flying is short for "new flying"; which they are hoping to bring something unique when it comes to rock bands. The group is signed with record label FNC Entertainment.

The band consist of members Lee Seung Hyub, Cha Hun, Kwon Kwang Jin, and Kim Jae Hyun.

X1, ‘Produce X 101’ Project Group, Hits Billboard’s Social 50 and Emerging Artist Charts

Even before their official debut arrives, 11-member K-pop group X1 is already making ripples in the scene! According to Billboard’s weekly charts dated August 13, the project boy band -- with members coming from the Mnet survival show-cum-talent search Produce X 101 -- has taken the No. 6 spot on the music magazine’s Social 50 chart.
