Beau Biden's death has been confirmed, according to several reports.

Being the prolific son of long-time politician Joe Biden, Beau has been making a name for himself as the Attorney General for Delaware. He died due to brain cancer, two years after he was diagnosed with it.

6 abc reported about the 46-year-old's career that didn't seem to stray far away from that of his father's. News about his intentions with running for office as a governor in 2016 has surfaced after he has announced his plans thru an email to his supporters. Moreso, he added that he also wishes to be re-elected as attorney general for Delaware.

His previous announcement made supporters happy and worried at the same time, as news about his health issues were made public. 

When he was 41, Joe suffered from a mild stroke. Since then, he has been an advocate of practicing work-life balance.

"Sometimes, it's not good to look too far down the road," he previously said during an interview with The Associated Press. "Having long-term dreams is a good thing ... but having a plan has never worked for me, because life always intervenes."

"It's kind of reinforced how I've operated my life," the young politician added. 

After his Joe Biden's death, numerous members from his party released statements, specifically about his plans of running for office as governor in the year 2016.

"I think he would have run," said Governor Jack Markell of Delaware. "I think he would have won."

Tom Gordon, New Castle County Executive, also said that Joe was serious about running. "He thought he was going to win this battle," he said, according to the site linked above.

"He was a rock star," Gordon added. "He had a great image, great character."

Known to the public to be a graduate of University of Pennsylvania and Syracuse University, where he earned his law degree, Joe Biden's death will be remembered especially by his father and his fellow Democrats.
