Chris Hemsworth's new movie role will be a big change. After seeing the actor in "Snow White and the Hunstmans," "Thor" and "The Avengers: Age of Ultron," Christ Hemsworth's new movie role is taking a break from all the action and getting into a desk job.

In a report on E! Online, it was cited that Chris Hemsworth new movie role is the receptionist in the upcoming "Ghostbusters" reboot.

As the "Ghostbusters" reboot is serious about its gender-reversal mode on the plot, Chris Hemsworth's new movie role is taking over the original receptionist of the "Ghosbusters" movies Janine Melnitz that was portrayed by Annie Potts back then.

There are no details yet on how Chris Hemsworth's new movie role will be presented in the "Ghostbusters" reboot.

It's director Paul Feig who only tweeted a picture of Chris Hemsworth about snagging the new movie role captioning it "Our receptionist. #whoyougonnacall."

Fans instantly gushed over Twitter after the announcement of Chris Hemsworth's new movie role. Some are already even imagining him with glasses on and joking about the manner in which he would answer phone calls at the "Ghostbusters" headquarters.

Although there is much excitement now, Variety reported though that Chris Hemsworth initially rejected the new movie role for the "Ghostbusters" reboot.

"Insiders say the studio went to Hemsworth very early on in the process for one of the major male roles but the Aussie actor passed because the role was too small," wrote the article. "Since then Sony reworked the script so the part was beefed up."

The movie also stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon as the four female leads.

Details on the plot of the film has yet to be released up to now.

Audiences will get a glimpse of Chris Hemworth's new movie role as a receptionist when the movie is released on July 22, 2016. But before that audiences will see him first in "Vacation" coming this July and "In The Heart Of The Sea" in December.
