Foo Fighters Tour Cancelled? Dave Grohl Sighted Out In London After Concert Accident

It a sad week for Foo Fighters fans in the Netherlands and Switzerland after the Foo Fighters tour got cancelled in the countries due to the injury that Dave Grohl sustained at their Sweden concert last Friday.

The announcement of the Foo Fighters tour cancelled in some areas was made in a statement posted on their official website.

"As witnessed by tens of thousands in attendance at Foo Fighters' June 12 show at Ullevi Stadium, Dave Grohl took a nasty spill during the second song of the set," the statement recounted. "With the help of on-site medical staff who patched him up temporarily, Dave was able to rejoin the band to complete that performance."

"While the full extent of Dave's injuries are still being determined, it was confirmed at a post-show hospital visit that he sustained at least one fracture," it added.

"As a result Foo Fighters have been forced to cancel their June 14 appearance at the Pinkpop Festival as well as their June 16 show at the AFG Arena in St. Gallen, Switzerland," the statement concluded.

Although a bit down with the news of some dates of the Foo Fighters tour cancelled, fans commented over the post with much enthusiasm telling their rock hero to get all the rest that he needs.

The Wrap said in a report that it remains unclear if the cancelled dates would be rescheduled.

There has been no additional announcement yet whether further show dates would be cancelled as well. The Foo Fighters are to perform at the Wembley in London on Friday and Saturday. The schedule is still up on their website.

Dave Grohl has also been spotted in London last Saturday a day after he fractured his leg. In a report on TMZ, he was pictured in crutches and a cast. His cast even had notes of love from his family.

Grohl was also seen up and about on Sunday as mentioned by Mail Online in an article after Foo Fighters tour cancelled in some areas announcements were made.
