There may be a new couple in town and their love affair may have started on set. According to a report on Us Weekly, "True Detective" stars Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams have something going on.

"The Canadians, who recently wrapped the HBO drama's second season, have been 'friends for years,'" a source told Us Weekly. "They grew closer on set."

The state of the reportedly newfound love affair between the two stars seem to be getting serious, according the site cited above.

"I don't know if it's full-blown love yet, but they talk constantly," a different source told. "They're really into each other. She talks about him all the time!"

Vanity Fair even noted that the Taylor Kitsch Rachel McAdams dating rumors surfacing on Canada Day may be a good sign for both well-known Canadians.

The report also said that Kitsch dating McAdams was "inevitable" since "The Notebook" actress has been known to dating her co-stars.

As reported by the Huffington Post, McAdams dated Ryan Gosling when she did the Nicolas Sparks movie and Michael Sheen when she did "Midnight in Paris." Prior to the Taylor Kitsch dating rumors, Rachel McAdams reportedly dated Jake Gyllenhaal during filming of "Southpaw."

"I usually take away one close relationship from every job, some romantic, some not," McAdams told In Style back in 2010 as quoted by People.

"A set may seem like a good place for romance, but I don't think it's very conducive; it's too distracting," she also told Glamour in 2012 as quoted news.com.au. "Every relationship I've had with a co-worker comes after the fact."

No one from Taylor Kitsch or Rachel McAdam's camp have yet to confirm the dating rumors though. "True Detective" wrapped up filming last month and season 2 of the show currently airs on HBO.
