Scarlet Witch and Captain America may be hooking up off screen. According to a report on Hollywood Life, Elizabeth Olsen and Chris Evans, the actors playing the said characters, are an item and they are using all their might to keep the relationship under wraps.

"Chris and Lizzie are definitely involved in some kind of ultra-secret romance that's being kept under wraps while they shoot," a source of the The National Enquirer revealed as quoted by the source cited above.

"The attraction between them has been there from day one," the source added.

The report also said that Elizabeth Olsen and Chris Evans were determined to keep the purported relationship out of the public eye for a reason.

"Chris is paranoid about his womanizing becoming public while he's on this multi-picture deal with Marvel," the source also revealed. "He's protecting his image, and will bend over backwards to keep things quiet."

It seemed that the rumored couple really were going lengths to protect the reported relationship. According to Dlisted, Olsen and Evans reportedly enlisted Tom Hiddlleston as decoy to keep their said romance a secret sending the three in a love triangle of a different kind.

As also reported by the National Enquirer and cited by Dlisted, the rumors earlier this year that Olsen and Hiddleston were a thing was just used to keep the attention away from the "Avengers" actress and actor.

Olsen's last confirmed relationship was Boyd Holbrook, according to the Inquisitr. But they ended their engagement last year. She was then reportedly on a rebound with Hiddleston. Evans, on the other hand, reportedly dated Lily Collins early this year. Collins though has been posting her PDA with Jamie Campbell Bower on her Instagram account. Evans has also been rumored to have hooked up with Sandra Bullock in the past year.

Elizabeth Olsen and Chris Evans first worked together in "Avengers: Age of Ultron." They are now working together on "Captain America: Civil War." The rumored couple were even seen sharing high fives on set back in May, according to Just Jared. "Captain America: Civil War" will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
