Regardless of how celebrated Caitlyn Jenner's transition is at the recently concluded ESPY Awards, her daughters Kylie and Kendall Jenner allegedly feels confused.

"They miss having their dad and they are still in such a state of total confusion over the transition. Obviously they support Caitlyn, but they are also missing the role that Bruce played in their lives," claimed one source as reported by Radar Online.

Allegations have risen that following her transition, Caitlyn Jenner is now more of a mother figure than her ex-wife Kris Jenner.

"Even though Caitlyn told them that their father is not going anywhere, they cannot help but feel that they are without a dad right now. Caitlyn is definitely their mother right now and, in a sad way, is more of a mom than Kris ever was to them," added the source to the same publication.

While the family supports the former Olympian's embracing of her femininity, Kylie and Kendall Jenner "cannot look at her as their father anymore."

Apart from Kylie and Kendall Jenner, Caitlyn Jenner has four other biological kids - Burton and Cassandra from his first marriage and Brandon and Brody Jenner from his second. He also serves as a dad to Kris Jenner's children with Robert Kardashian - Kourtney, Kim, Khloe, and Rob.

Despite Caitlyn Jenner's change, the 65-year-old still allows her children to call her as "dad." The former Olympian reportedly believes that her children might have difficulty adjusting so she still allows them to call her "dad."

According to a People magazine insider, Caitlyn Jenner "spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this."

"Caitlyn has been really understanding that it doesn't come naturally for anyone," the source added. "No one expects this change to happen overnight. If one of the boys slips up, it's not a big deal."
