Juniel Holds Album Release Event in Japan, ‘Surprised At Crowd Turnout’

Singer-songwriter JUNIEL held her 1st Japan full album 'JUNI' release event at Tower Records Shibuya, Tokyo.

During the mini live show session, she sang three songs "Forever", "Travel"and "Everything Is Alright" only with her acoustic guitar captivating the audience. Fans welcomed Juniel with cheers, saying "cute!" She thanked them for coming to see her and admitted she was nervous and excited because she didn't expect so many people would come.

She sang "Forever" first, which was title track of her Japan major debut single, with her trademark sweet voice. After singing 'Forever', she revealed that "''Travel' is my favorite song in the album. I wrote it before I came to Japan first." The song is about her feeling and thoughts to start her career. As she began playing 'Travel', she missed some of the lyrics, and therefore had to stop and start over again.  This was a minor incident, and fans consider it a lucky accident as they are able to hear more of her sweet singing. She sang 'Travel' very emotionally and beautifully. JUNIEL confessed "I'm moved" after singing Travel. Fans also seemed to feel the same. She said "I usually had about 30 audience in Japan live before, and this time I'm so grateful that many people came."  This shows JUNIEL's humble grounding to her simpler roots, and her gratitude for her supporters.

The last song was this most recent album's lead song titled "Everything Is Alright". Juniel said "I wrote it when I was very tired while I was preparing for Korean debut. I wrote and sang this song and healed
myself. I hope you feel better listening to this song, too."  Once again proving that she is a gifted songwriter who gets inspiration from her own experiences, and turns her challenges into opportunities.
The whole venue had a very warm vibe,  probably thanks to Juniel's charming character. Fans were amazed by her music, good Japanese and cuteness.

After the mini live show, JUNIEL had a fansign session. Many fans made a long line to get her autograph. Juniel was so kind and friendly to communicate with fans. The day of her first major album debut definitely shows another new beginning to her career, perhaps another inspiration to draw enlightening songs from.  Even with the fame that she is now beginning to get, compared to her Japanese indie days, the young lady singer-songwriter proves that she will always remain herself.  Like her self-titled album, 'Juni', she will just always sing about her truest emotions and experience.
