Apple Watches To Be Sold Via Best Buy Starting Aug. 7; Apple Expands Watch’s Availability

Apple Watches will be available via Best Buy starting on August 7 as a way to expand the device's availability to customers, FirstPost reports.

The Apple Watch has been causing a hype among tech enthusiasts after Apple released it to the markets. However, according to reports, there had been quite an issue with regard to its availability due to the high demand during its launch and some have raised their concerns about it.

Good news for those who are looking forward to owning an Apple Watch, he device will be available for sale on Best Buy starting on Aug. 7!

"Starting Aug. 7, Best Buy will be the first national retailer, other than Apple Atore, where customers can buy the Apple Watch," a statement on the official website of Best Buy says. The company also announced that the product will be available in over a hundred Best Buy physical stores and also on BestBuy.com, according to Wall Street Journal.

Furthermore, the Best Buy also says that Apple Watch will be available in another 200 stores which will be opened in time for the holiday season.

An update says that Best Buy considers the Apple Watch as "an important addition to an emerging product category" that customers wants, PC World reports. "We are excited to Bring Apple Watch to more customers, especially with the holidays coming up," says Best Buy cneior category officer Jason Bonfig.

As for Apple, the company sees it as an opportunity to expand the availability of the watch to consumers. According to Apple via WSJ, "Expanding Watch's availability is the next step in what has been a rocky roll-out of Apple's first new hardware since the iPad."

Apple explains that they have started shipping the product to customers back on April 24, but they had to limit online sales. It was only in June that the Apple Watch become available in Apple's physical stores.
