NBA Trade Rumors: Clippers’ Jamal Crawford And Suns’ Markieff Morris On The Trading Block?

The NBA free agency storm has finally settled down and no trades have been made this past few weeks. But, the hottest names rumored to be available are LA Clipper's Jamal Crawford and Phoenix Suns' Markieff Morris.

Starting with Crawford, it is understandable why the Clippers might see him as the odd man out. They just got a lot deeper and the shooting guard position is now crowded with the addition of Lance Stephenson.

But, Doc Rivers believe that the 35 year-old sixth-man is a vital piece of the puzzle and it is highly unlikely that they will move him per Melissa Rohlin of the Los Angeles Times.

"We like Jamal. Jamal does something that only several people do, Lou Williams, and a couple of more guys." Rivers said. "Our job is to always improve our team, but we also respect and love what Jamal has done. The rumors about that is even crazy, but it is what it is, there's nothing we can do about it."

If Jamal is highly unlikely, the Suns moving Markieff Morris looks like a sure shot in each passing day. Recent reports indicate that Markieff is no longer interested to talk with his teammates and  the Suns management and just wants to be moved immediately.

His twin, Marcus, previously shared his grievance when the Suns dealt him without prior notice.

"Everybody knew how bad I wanted to play with my brother," Marcus Morris said last month via ESPN.com. "Phoenix knew. For them to trade me without consent or telling or anything like that was kind of like a, I would say slap in the face, because of the contract I took from those guys and the money I took from them. That was kind of a slap in the face."
