The iPad Air 3 Release Date Has Been Pushed Back: Here’s Why

Fans have been anticipating the release date of the iPad Air 3 for several months now.

Although Apple has not made an official announcement surrounding its launch date being delayed, new information suggests that its anticipated release has been pushed back. This means the tablet may not be available until 2016.

Earlier this summer, however, Boosh reported that Apple is planning to release the iPad Air 3 alongside the iPad Mini 4 later this fall. Additional reports claimed a rumored October release date for the tablet may coincide with a price drop for Apple's current flagship tablet, the iPad Air 2.

We're still not sure as of yet when the iPad Air 3 will be available, but we do know that it will include an Apple A9 processor as part of its specs.

The A9 processor is developed by the Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. and Samsung, which both partner with Apple. It has also been used for current models of the iPhone 6.

It is also said to include 2GB of RAM.
