This, according to Forbes' World's Highest Paid celebrity list for 2015.

Although the tennis superstar only earned $6.7 million from the tournaments she has participated in, she still earned a whopping $23 million in endorsements alone.

After being injured in the second half of 2013, the Russian athlete-model made an amazing comeback in 2014 to win the French Open title and her fifth Grand Slam title overall.

Winning the Roland Garros title enabled her to obtain significant bonuses from sponsored Tag Heuer and Nike.

The six-foot-two-inch champion also had other major product endorsements under her belt which included deals with Avon Products, Samsung, and Evian.

In 2012, the ace player launched her own candy line "Sugarpova" whose sales doubled to more than three million bags after she endorsed the sweet.

Meanwhile, Celebrities Money revealed that Maria Sharapova has a net worth of $175 million.

She is now ranked the second richest tennis player in the world.

In 2010, the French Open champion signed a highly lucrative eight-year contract with NIKE worth $70 Million.
