Jimmy Fallon Injury News: Entertainer Sprained His Finger By Popping A Bubble Wrap?

Jimmy Fallon's injury news may have had another addition last week as the TV host took to social media to share his latest freak accident of sorts.

Over at Twitter on Sept. 3, the "Tonight Show" host said he may have accidently sprained one of his fingers doing the most regular of things --  popping some bubble wrap.

"Thanks for the bubble suit, @TheView, but I sprained my finger from popping all the bubbles," he tweeted.

It was not clear if the "Tonight Show" host was just joking or was serious about his latest freak accident.

While some took the post as a joke, some of his fans and followers were quick to express their worry. There were even a number of them that replied to his tweet with several ideas to avoid hurting himself further. Among the suggestion was for him to wear a bubble wrap suit or a bubble wrap glove.

Just last week, the Jimmy Fallon injury news came out with something good, the "Tonight Show" himself posted online that he's recovering well from his finger injury.

"Looking good," he wrote when asked about his finger injury. "I got the pin out today."

His fans were glad of the good news.

The summer has not been personally kind to the "Tonight Show" host. Even before the Fourth of July hiatus of the show, he accidentally almost rippled off his finger after tripping inside his home as cited in a report on The Wrap.

"Ring avulsion," he told the audience on the "Tonight Show" what his injury was called. "If you Google it there are graphic images. Basically, my ring got caught on the countertop when I was going down, and it got stuck there and pulled my finger off."

He was lucky though and his doctor and his team were able to salvage his finger.

But two weeks ago, the Jimmy Fallon injury news became the talk of the town again as the TV host chipped his tooth off while getting his medicine for his finger injury as reported in Page Six.
