Christina Milian finally spoke up about Lil Wayne after they recently ended their one-year romance. According to a report from E!Online, the ex-couple is still working together after their unexpected split.

"I know what's up, he knows what's up," Christina Milian replied when cornered about the breakup during the recent Verizon launch party.

The R&B singer then diverted the attention away from their romantic relationship and instead gushed about her their musical collaboration. Entitled "Do It," the ex-couple's joint release talks about a girl falling in love with a bad boy.

The songstress even gamely admitted that "Do It" is her song for the "Lollipop" rapper.

"The song is sexy," Christina Milian said. "It's about the two of us so it's going to be sexy."

According to a related report from Entertainment Tonight, Christina Milian also clarified that she and the "Young Money" star are not in bad terms.

"He and I are good," she said. "I know a lot of people have been asking, but we're talking and we're fine."

The sexy diva went on to praise her former beau and his work as a hip-hop artist, specifically for "Do It."

"He's just talented," Christina Milian said about Lil Wayne.

"He's just awesome. The lyrics are all about me!"

"I wanted it to be real. The song's about he and I, so it was perfect," she added.

Per E! News, a source close to the former couple explained that Christina Milian and Lil Wayne's split might not even be permanent.

"They are not on bad terms. They just are taking a break," the source revealed.

"Christina is focusing on herself now and surrounding herself with her close girl friends like Karrueche Tran. They both understand each other and girlfriends are exactly what she wants about now."

The source also confirmed reports that the two decided to part ways due to their hectic schedules.

"Their schedules started getting extremely busy and the distance was not easy for them both," said the source.
