Holly Madison Gushes About Her Daughter, Opens Up About Being Judged As A First-Time Parent

Holly Madison gushed about her daughter in an interview with Yahoo Parenting. In the feature, the former Playboy Playmate also opened up about how she was judged as a first-time parent.

The 35-year-old TV personality has been in the news lately after she released her memoir "Down the Rabbit Hole: Curious Adventures And Cautionary Tales of a Former Playboy Bunny."

The tell-all detailed the former model's life inside the Playboy mansion as one of the revolving girlfriends of pornography mogul Hugh Hefner. At present, the former "Girls Next Door" star is a mother to two-year-old Rainbow Aurora Rotella and a wife to businessman Pasquale Rotella.

Most likely because of her Playboy past, the first-time mom admitted that people are still highly critical of her parenting skills.

"I think every mom feels judged these days," she said. "Somewhere along the line, parenting got really competitive."

"I get a lot of it on Instagram. I can't post any picture of my daughter without someone commenting that I'm not being a good mom," she added.

In spite of people being doubtful of her abilities as a mom, Holly Madison insists that her daughter has changed her for the better. She also shared how she tries to stay away from haters in order to focus on parenting.

"The second I had Rainbow my mommy instincts kicked in," she said.

"The thing that annoyed me more than anything is when people gave me advice that was unsolicited."

"Honestly, it turns me off so much that I just try to steer clear of it. Other moms can be so judgmental," she scoffed.

According to a previous report from In Touch Weekly, Holly Madison clarified that her daughter is her inspiration for coming out with her explosive tell-all book.

"One of the reasons I wrote the book is if anything ever happened to me, my daughter - when she's old enough to know - can know about the decisions I made and can learn from my mistakes," she explained.

After the release of "Down The Rabbit Hole," Holly Madison has been slammed by former housemates who claimed that her book is full of lies.

"I don't really care," Holly Madison said about her book's haters. "I didn't write the book to get a reaction."

"I wanted to share my story with the people I thought could benefit from it," she quipped.
