‘Tekken 7’ PS4 Release Date To Happen Next Summer?

"Tekken 7" has been release by Bandai Namco for quite some time now but fans of the fighting game are still waiting for the release date of the game for the PS4 and Xbox One.

In a report by PlayStation Universe, however, it has been said that developers may finally release the game for the PS4 and Xbox One on 2016.

According to the report, the release date of "Tekken 7" for the PS4 may have been confirmed by marketing boss for Namco's Spanish arm David Fraile at the Madrid Games Week a few weeks back.

A Spanish gaming website Koi-Nya, where the original report came from, meanwhile released an update for the report regarding the "Tekken 7" PS4 release date.

In the update, while the Spanish team is also working on the Arcade release of the fighting title, the developers are still trying their best to bring the game to the consoles while they focus on the European releases for now.

"It is true that we are planning various activities around the Tekken license. However, I want to clarify my comments made during MGW: Tekken is one of the largest license Bandai Namco and obviously we are working on bringing content related to license the West. At the moment, we are trying to bring arcade Tekken 7 Madrid, Barcelona and other Spanish cities."

However, the same timeframe has been speculated by a few gaming sites including Michael Briers of We Got This Covered, who also claimed that the release of the game might arrive next year.

"With nary a mention of a console release date, our bet would be on Bandai Namco finally locking down a launch window for Tekken 7, possibly slating the title for some point in 2016," Briers speculated.
