EXO became the Korean artist to sell the most number of albums in Japan.

On Nov. 10, SM Entertainment revealed that EXO's debut single Love Me Right~ Romantic Universe~ sold a total of 147,000 albums on its release date (Nov. 10), rising to the top of the Oricon Chart.

The number of albums sold is the most any Korean artist or group has sold in Japan.

The Oricon Chart of Japan delivered this news on their front page, saying "Japan Debut Single Rank 1! Korean artist's record-breaking 147,000 albums. This is the most any Korean artist has sold in Japan as a debut single."

The single album Love Me Right~ Romantic Universe~ contains the Japanese version to EXO's "Love Me Right" along with a new song titled "Drop That."

EXO is currently in the midst of a dome tour in Japan.
