Former OnlyOneOf members KB, JISUNG, and NINE have rebranded as QQQ and released their debut mini-album 'QtoresQ' on Feb. 26, 2026, marking a new chapter in their careers as an independent trio.
Group Name and Formation
The trio chose the name QQQ as a continuation of their original group's identity. According to KB, the abbreviation for OnlyOneOf was O.O.O., and when viewed from a certain angle, it resembles QQQ.
The group was announced on Dec. 21, 2025, following the expiration of OnlyOneOf's contract with 8D Entertainment in October 2025. The formation marks the reunion of JISUNG, formerly known as Love, who left OnlyOneOf in 2021, with his former bandmates KB and NINE, according to Music Mundial.

Album Meaning and Concept
The mini-album title 'QtoresQ' is pronounced "Q to rescue" and represents the members' desire to be a source of support during difficult times. The trio explained that the "Q" is not fixed and could represent the members themselves, their fans, or anyone going through hardships, carrying the meaning of rescuing each other.
The four-track album includes "UNCOOL," "QtoresQ," "Rainbow shade," and "Burnaway (into the fire)." The project serves as a signal to supporters, conveying a message of finding light in one another through darkness, KpopWise reported.
Creative Process and Independence
QQQ emphasized their hands-on approach to creating the album, with all three members participating in every aspect of production. The group handled not only the songs but also the concept, music video, jacket photos, and social media previews themselves.
KB acknowledged that working independently without company direction meant the production process was not always smooth, as the members had to align their individual creative visions through meetings.
However, JISUNG noted this gave them complete ownership and responsibility over their work, allowing them to deliver their message more clearly.
NINE expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work as a trio and for JISUNG's decision to return after his hiatus, as per Allkpop.
