Fans Concerned CL Won't Promote New Song In Korea Due To Obscene Language

2NE1's CL (Lee Chaerin) is confirmed to be making her solo comeback on Nov. 21.

After speculation that Lee Hi might be making her comeback due to a slew of YG Entertainment artists releasing random letter clues on social media, the agency confirmed on Wednesday, Nov. 18, that CL will drop a new single on Saturday.

YG uploaded a poster on the agency's official Twitter page that revealed CL's upcoming single titled "Hello Bitches" will be released on Nov. 21 at 9:00 p.m. KST.

With the language used in the title, fans are wondering if CL will be able to promote the single in Korea.

"Seeing as how obscene the title is, I bet it's an American single. She wouldn't be able to promote in Korea with that title," said a fan, as translated by the blog Netizenbuzz.

Even with the obscene title, fans are looking forward to CL's solo debut. "Huk it's CL, looking forward to it," wrote another fan.

In September, CL had an interview with Dazed, which she revealed that her American debut will be heralded by the EP Lifted. "Hello Bitches" will be contained on the album.

"Hello Bitches" was originally said to be titled "Asian Bitches," but was reportedly changed due to sensitivity concerns.

CL operates under the South Korean agency YG Entertainment, but has also been signed to Scooter Braun's SB Projects in the U.S., which also handles American promotions for her YG label mate, PSY.
