Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink may be giving their marriage another try. After being spotted holding hands in Paris, the pair were reportedly mending their relationship one step at a time.

As reported by Us Weekly, the former "Grey's Anatomy" actor and the "Mockingjay Part 2" makeup artist were dating again.

"They've been going on dates," an insider told the source above. "And [are] trying to be a couple again."

According to the same insider, the "Mockingjay Part 2" actress gave the former "Grey's Anatomy" actor another chance after he made an effort for their relationship.

"He was going through a bit of a midlife crisis," the insider added. "But he's snapping out of it."

No word yet though if Patrick Dempsey and Jillian Fink have officially cancelled their divorce.

The couple showed giving love another chance just earlier this month. As told by Entertainment Tonight, they strolled Paris holding hands and even had a bike ride around the city.

While the former "Grey's Anatomy" actor's personal life worked out before the year ended, his exit from the medical drama series continue to be dragged into rumors especially with Shonda Rhime's new statement about killing off characters from her TV shows.

In an interview with "The Nightly Show" recently, Shonda Rhimes admitted killing off a character on one of her TV series because she hated the actor.

"Yes," she immediately answered when asked by Larry Wilmore.

"I'm not naming names," she followed up at once.

Although Shonda Rhimes was mum about who the actor she hated was, entertainment sites pointed out that it might be the Derek Shepherd actor. Dempsey's character was the latest that she has killed off. But as told by the Daily News, other characters that have been killed off from a Rhimes TV series were Eric Dane, Chyler Leigh and T.R. Knight from "Grey's" as well and "Scandal's" Columbus Short and Dan Bucantinsky.
