Thanks to Crunchyroll, a new episode of "Beautiful Bones: Sakurako's Investigation" is now streaming online. Episode nine is entitled "Grandmother's Pudding" and can be watched for free using the website links provided below.

This week's episode begins with Yuriko buying cake to place on her grandmother's grave. She runs into Sakurako and Tatewaki. She asks them if they can help her with settling some of her grandmother's things.

Yuri appears to be looking for a present that her grandmother promised her for when she gets married. As they go through her grandmother's things they find that Yuriko used to write to her grandmother a lot as a child and that her grandmother enjoyed poetry.

Sakurako decides that the present could be the picture of an island with a tragic story. The story implies that the island would always be looking over her. Frankly however, Sakurako admits that she doesn't know which item is the present. She believes their relationship was too special, and that only Yuriko can figure out what she wanted to give her.

Yuriko leaves the room and gives brief respects to her grandmother's shrine. Tatewaki and Sakurako go back to her house and give some pudding to her housemaid. The mood of the dessert gets Tatewaki talking about his own grandparents and how he watched his grandmother die from cancer.

She never liked pudding until after getting cancer. Through deduction, the housemaid and Sakurako inform Tatewaki that his grandmother likely sent him to that store to get the pudding so she could get painkillers injected and make sure that he'd never see her in pain.

The memory causes Tatewaki to start crying. Sakurako goes to get tea while the housemaid comforts Tatewaki. Sakurako says she's going to take her to the hospital tomorrow, but she refuses. She wants to be her gran until she dies.
