'Expendables 4' Movie Release Date And Casting News: It has been confirmed that the upcoming Expendables 4 will be an R-rated movie. Sly Stallone is promising more blood and a more action.

The movie will maintain its all-action star formula and will be produced on a budget of over $100 million. The budget will exceed "Expendables 2" which is the most expensive film to date with a $92 million budget, Movie News reported.

"The Expendables" is already in talks for a bigger budget for the fourth movie in its franchise, even if "The Expendables 3" was not as successful as expected. Expendables 3 only made $39.3 million domestically.

It's been over a year since the disappointing box office results of "Expendables 3." Some thought the aging action hero franchise might have come to an end. Sylvester Stallone, who won't be in the proposed Rambo: New Blood TV series for Fox, blamed the PG rating for the drop-off, but according to reports, he is not going to make the same mistakes with "Expendables 4." The next installment of the franchise has a release date all set.

Variety reported that the next Expendables installment will start filming next year and will hit theaters in 2017. 'Expendables 4' will shoot in 2016 and be delivered in 2017, Variety wrote.

The industry paper wrote that no director nor cast has been announced yet.

"Expendables 4" will also reportedly introduce cast members. Wrestling Inc. wrote that WWE legend, Hulk Hogan is confirmed to join the cast.

Crossmap wrote that the recent reports on the signing of the distribution rights for "The Expendables 4" in China gave fans hope that the highly anticipated movie is still happening.

Expendables 4 might feature Pierce Brosnan. Early in 2014, Brosnan confirmed that The Expendables Producer Avi Lerner asked if the actors would be interested to work on the franchise. Brosnan confirmed that he immediately said 'yes.'

Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson has expressed interest in joining the franchise, but wants to be a villain. Not just any villain, he wants to be the worst bad guy the team has ever come across.

"I don't want to be on their team and be buddies with them. F**k that noise," The Rock said. "I want to hunt every single one of them down and tell them to "send your soul to heaven cause your ass is mine."

Hulk Hogan is also rumored to be part of the upcoming The Expendables. He also wants to be the villain in the upcoming The Expendables 4.

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was rumored to be part of "Expendables 4" when he tagged Sylvester Stallone in a tweet.

"Expendables 4" cast rumors also include Manny Pacquiao, Mel Gibson, Antonio Banderas, Harrison Ford, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, Wesley Snipes, Ronda Rousey, Terry Crews, Jet Li, and Kellan Lutz.

None of the names have been confirmed.
