Synopsis/Recap:

This week's episode picks up with Kai and Kei still on the run in the dead of night. Kei is of course worried about being captured and having his immortality tested. Kai tries to assure Kei that he will be okay as they've traveled very far at this point.

Kai says they should pick a place to stop for the night and assures him that he doesn't care if Kei is an Ajin or not. Meanwhile, Tosaki arrives at Kei's house and they set up plans to capture him. The local news is also reporting live from the house. Tosaki informs the local police that they will need a tranquilizer gun to stop an Ajin.

The police question Kei's sister Eri at the hospital. Kai and Kei stop at a gas station. Kei asks Kai why he's still his friend despite being an Ajin. Kai points out that if there are 46 more Ajin in the world, it is pretty certain that being an Ajin doesn't make him that weird.

Some thugs have caught the trail of Kai and Kei. Back at Kei's house, one of the police officers requests more information about Ajin while Kei's classmates wonder what to do about school now that Kei is gone.

The thugs catch up with Kai and Kei. They manage to grab Kei, who was alone using the bathroom. Kai fights the two thugs. Meanwhile, the girl that the guys had captured escapes their van. One of the thugs tries to choke Kei to death. For a moment, Kei is outside of his body. He screams and the sound stops everyone from having the ability to move.

Kei and Kai are able to get back on Kai's motorcycle and they run off. Tosaki explains to the police officer, Araki, that he should beware the Ajin's voice. Tosaki reminds his partner Izumi that they are not humans at work - they're officials.

Unfortunately, the two thugs once again catch up with Kai and Kei. Kai and Key run through some train tracks, and the thugs get stuck on the tracks as the driver's body is held captive by a smoky black figure. The figure appears to be some manifestation of Kei.
