EXO member Chanyeol is cooling off in the mountains and snowboarding to his heart's content, based on the idol's latest Instagram post.

On January 27, Chanyeol uploaded a video on his Instagram account which showed him slowly sliding down a mountain slope. He was also dressed warmly in layers of snowboarding gear, including a ski mask, beige coat and gloves.

The short video has gained more than 400,000 likes just 10 hours after it was posted, showing again why Chanyeol is the most popular and most followed EXO member on Instagram.

Chanyeol fans were happy to see their beloved idol having a blast and taking a break from his hectic schedule. Many also wished him to be careful while performing the sport.

"So cool oppa," "Well done," "Have fun but please be careful," said online commenters.

Snowboarding seems to be popular sports hobby among idols. CNBLUE lead singer Jung Yong Hwa, also went snowboarding earlier this month during the New Year's holiday.

After his snowboarding break, Chanyeol and the rest of EXO will be focusing on their 2016 activities, which include the upcoming SBS competition Watching You airing on February 7 to 10 as a Lunar New Year special.

The show will pit 20 idol groups, including EXO, against each other in various activities throughout the four days until one winner emerges. Other confirmed groups based on reports include EXID, AOA, BTOB, BTS, Super Junior and TWICE.
