Live Nation is facing a new lawsuit from nearly 30 Stray Kids fans who say the concert promoter and others failed to protect them from dangerous heat at a Washington, D.C., show during last year's heat wave.

The lawsuit was filed in D.C. Superior Court on Mar. 30, 2026, and names Live Nation Entertainment, the District of Columbia government, Events D.C., and food services company Levy GP Corporation as defendants.

It stems from a Jun. 23, 2025, Stray Kids concert at Nationals Park, where temperatures approached 100 degrees, and thousands of people gathered for the K‑pop group's stadium show, according to TicketNews.

Plaintiffs allege the organizers were negligent because they did not provide enough water, shade, or cooling resources, even though the event took place during the city's first major heat wave of the season.

According to the complaint and local officials, at least six concertgoers were taken to hospitals for heat-related illnesses before and after the show. D.C. Fire and EMS deployed a Mass Casualty Task Force to the ballpark area as people in security lines and inside the venue began to suffer symptoms of heat exhaustion and heat stroke.

Fans reported seeing people faint and vomit, and said the performance was cut short around 10:30 p.m. over safety concerns.

Nationals Park previously said it allowed cooling rooms, misting fans, and extra water, and that policy permitted fans to bring water bottles because of the high temperatures, Fox5DC reported.

However, the lawsuit claims security staff working the event forced some attendees to throw away their water at the gates, and that long lines in direct sun made it hard to reach shade or medical help.

Plaintiffs also accuse vendors of price‑gouging on drinks, saying bottled water and sports drinks were sold at inflated prices while supplies were limited.

The plaintiffs, who come from D.C. and several other states, argue that Live Nation and the other defendants had a duty to protect fans from foreseeable heat risks and failed to act reasonably.

Their legal team says they are seeking to hold "every responsible party accountable" for what they describe as preventable injuries caused by poor planning and a lack of effective emergency response. As of now, Live Nation and the other defendants have not publicly responded in detail to the lawsuit's allegations, as per WJLA.
